“Bucharest at a Glance”
tour is designed so that visitors can have a comprehensive view of the city, learn about its history and current context, local culture and people’s lifestyle, true facts and legends, in a relative short time.
It combines walking and sightseeing following the classic itinerary of Bucharest well-known landmarks, along with its main boulevards and squares. The tour has stops in two of the most emblematic places – Old City and the Revolution Square – both offering a broader perspective about the city’s past and present existence.
Please keep in mind that both “Bucharest at a Glance” half-day tour and “Bucharest at Large” full-day tour are flexible and can be tailored in accordance with your available time and interests.

- Universitatii Square; Romana Square; Victoriei Square; Aviatorilor Boulevard; Arch of Triumph; House of the Free Press; Kiseleff Boulevard; Victoriei Avenue, Parliament Palace
- Old City (walking tour) – the Old City represents much more than an entertainment hub. Before the communist era, it was the commercial heart of Bucharest, hosting large banks and strategic companies that shaped the economic life of the country, as well as small boutiques, fancy stores or antiques shops.
- Revolution Square (walking tour) — the place encompasses the city’s most relevant periods in the past two hundred years: the one dominated by royalty and the one under the grey auspices of communism. You will admire several iconic buildings of the city such as the Romanian Athenaeum or the former Royal Palace. You will also see the balcony where dictator Ceausescu held his last speech before his removal from the country’s leadership in 1989.
